DosFL™ SP-12 Fluid Loss Control Agent
In primary cementing the loss of fluid can eventuate in the premature gelation, consequently, it causes the bridging of the annular space between the permeable formation or zone and the pipe string that prevents the cement from being placed over the entire length of the well. Fluid loss control agents are added to cement to limit the loss of water from a slurry into the permeable formation.
DosFL™ SP-12 is a universally accepted fluid loss control agent for well-cementing operations and is designed to reduce the American Petroleum Institute (API) filtration rate of many water-based fluid systems. This product provides filtration control properties for a variety of drilling fluids such as drilling muds, completion fluids, gravel packing, and spacers/flashes.
Application temperature: 26 °C (80 °F) to +176 °C (+350 °F).
