Multifunctional Suface Active Agent
____________
DOSAS Translates Needs and the Oilfield’s Specific Requirements
into Multifunctional, Safe, and Sustainable Solutions
A chemical that preferentially adsorbs at an interface, lowering the surface tension or interfacial tension between fluids or between a fluid and a solid. This term encompasses a multitude of materials that function as emulsifiers, dispersants, cleaners, water-wetters, corrosion protections, and defoamers. The type of surfactant behavior depends on the structural groups on the molecule. Selecting the right surfactant is key to optimizing oil and gas recover.

Unique Combination of
Performance Features
________
DosMax™ 105, the core product of this product line is a 100% active multifunctional surface-active agent. DosMax™ 105 is a non-ionic surfactant-based with a combination of performance features as a wetting and cleaning agent, anti-foaming and corrosion inhibitor for oilfields.

Acting as a CO2 Acid Corrosion Inhibitor
________
During acidizing, hydrochloric acid reacts with calcium carbonate to form calcium chloride, carbon dioxide, and water. Consumption of 0.5 wt% DosMax™ 105 Cleaner shows corrosion rate less than 1 MPY and efficiency more than 98%.

Acting as a HCl Acid Corrosion Inhibitor
________
DosMax™ 105 Cleaner in 5% W/W Hydrochloric (Muriatic) Acid, shows corrosion rate less than 1 MPY and efficiency more than 98%.
Upon Evaporation,
Little or No Surfactant Remains
________
Due to its volatile nature, DosMax™ 105 can evaporate from a system under use conditions or heating. Therefore, DosMax™ 105 is useful in applications where residual surface activity, stabilization, and contamination is undesirable or surface activity in the vapor phase is necessary.
