A Sulfur-Free and Biodegradable Gel Stabilizer
Our gel stabilizer ensures successful hydraulic fracturing by transporting proppant effectively and minimizing damage to formations. It maintains stability under thermal and shear conditions, which is crucial for proper fracture creation and proppant placement. By optimizing shear recovery and thermal stability, our product guarantees reliable performance in challenging downhole conditions.
Additionally, its enhanced thermal stability reduces the amount of gelling agent needed. Unlike conventional stabilizers, our sulfur-free composition prevents the formation of corrosive and harmful H₂S gas, offering a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional sulfur-based stabilizers. Choose our advanced gel stabilizer for a more effective and safer fracturing operation.
Performance Highlight
Effects of Gel Stabilizers on Fracturing Fluid Stability
Both fluids demonstrated excellent shear recovery as the shear rate decreased from 935 s⁻¹ to 100 s⁻¹. However, the fluid containing GS-S exhibited a viscosity of approximately 350 cP at 100 s⁻¹ after six hours, followed by a further decline. In contrast, the fluid with GS-SF maintained a higher viscosity of around 550 cP at 100 s⁻¹ after six hours, with minimal reduction.
GeliN™ SF sulfur free gel stabilizer provides superior thermal and shear stability compared to sulfur-containing stabilizers, reducing the concentration of gelling agent needed to achieve desired stability at specific temperatures.
Using lower concentrations of gelling agents in the presence of a sulfur-free gel stabilizer minimizes damage to formation rock and results in better regained permeability.
A gel stabilizer/oxygen scavenger is essential in fracturing fluid to ensure thermal stability at temperatures above 225 °F
