Film Forming Corrosion Inhibitor
CorFix™ 180 is a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for use in a wide range of petroleum and petrochemical assets, particularly pipelines and gas lift systems. This technology is based on an engineered combination of surfactants which makes it an effective film-forming corrosion inhibitor and also, It is ideal for use in three-phase (Gas/Condensate/Water) systems, providing a durable protective barrier to prevent corrosion caused by aqueous fluids.
Additionally, CorFix™ 180 features a built-in volatile component that dissolves in the condensate phase, effectively neutralizing corrosive sour gases such as CO₂
and H₂S, thus preventing vapor corrosion in the upper sections of pipelines.
