At DOSAS, we developed DosFL™ HT, a high-performance fluid loss control additive made from high molecular weight sulfonated copolymers through aqueous free radical copolymerization. This additive adsorbs onto cement particles for optimal performance, resists degradation or hydrolysis, does not viscosify cement slurries, and aids in gas migration control, making it ideal for deep well conditions.
DosFL™ HT is applied at 0.44–3.0% BWOC, suitable for densities of 12.0–15.0 lbm/gal, and performs at 100–280°C BHCT with fluid loss below 100 mL in 30 minutes.

DosFL™ HT Delivers Success in Challenging and High Temperature Wellbores
In a 4950 m deep well in the Middle East with a BHCT of 200 °C, DosFL™ HT was utilized to overcome the challenges of extreme temperature and pressure. The operation was further complicated by varying wellbore diameters, which disrupted a unified cementing process. However, the results showcased outstanding performance: the cement slurry exhibited excellent fluidity, high compressive strength, and minimal fluid loss of less than 150 mL over various temperatures, ensuring a successful and efficient cementing operation.
