CorFix™ DF-39 Shields Your Well from CO₂, H₂S, and Oxygen-Driven Corrosion
Corrosion can impact every stage of a well’s lifecycle, starting as early as the drilling phase, where oxygen in the drilling mud can corrode well casing. To combat this, DOSAS introduces CorFix™ DF-39 featuring a powerful blend of water-soluble amine and organophosphate compounds. This innovative formula is specifically designed to protect casing, tubing, and downhole tools from the harsh conditions posed by clear completion brines and water-based drilling muds.
With CorFix™ DF-39, you get unmatched defence against pitting corrosion caused by dissolved oxygen. Its proven effectiveness extends across both fresh and saltwater systems, delivering robust performance even in the presence of CO₂ and H₂S.
Performance Highlight
A challenging well in the Middle East, exposed to extreme temperatures of up to 150°C, faced severe corrosion risks due to calcium chloride-based heavy brines, high-solids drill cuttings, and dissolved oxygen. To combat this, DOSAS engineered CorFix™ DF-39, a next-generation corrosion inhibitor designed for unmatched protection. Its innovative formulation significantly lowered corrosion rates across various dosages (0.1%, 0.5%, 1%). CorFix™ DF-39 corrosion inhibitor provided exceptional protection, extended the lifespan of critical equipment, and minimized operational disruptions, ensuring reliable performance even in the most demanding conditions.
Compatible with sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium bromide, calcium bromide and moderate-density zinc bromide brine fluids.
CorFix™ DF-39 is engineered for extreme conditions, delivering superior corrosion protection even in HPHT environments up to 350°F (177°C) and exposure to CO₂ and H₂S.
They maintain the integrity of the drilling mud or fluid system without negatively affecting the rheological properties, allowing for optimal fluid performance while providing corrosion protection.
The drilling corrosion inhibitor is designed to be environmentally friendly, breaking down naturally over time without causing harm to surrounding ecosystems, ensuring safe and sustainable operations in sensitive environments.
